Current Challenges

What Members Are Telling Us:

I did not know I had a say as a member-ownerIt is not clear to me how to give my input or participate as a member-ownerWith all current board members living in the Arcata/Eureka area I do not feel like my interests and/or region is being represented on the board.

Potential Solutions

Members Voice Slate Suggestions:

We commit to strengthening the information and regularity it is provided to new and existing members We commit to creating and communicating clearer pathways for members to participate at CCCUWe commit to cultivating a board that is more representative of the membership. Each year, 3 seats on the board are up for election. We would work with communities in the underrepresented areas to collaborate to fill more board seats with members outside of Arcata and Eureka with a focus on the Trinity and Del Norte counties.

Before this election even started, we connected with over 600 CCCU members. The overwhelming insight we gained was that the majority of members we spoke to were not aware of their important role as member-owners in providing input and feedback to the credit union, nor the ways or places to do so. We learned a lot from the conversations about things members would like to see change, and heard questions they would like to have answered.

Click the button and give us your input as to what changes you'd like to see at Coast Central Credit Union. Whether elected or not, your comments will be submitted to the acting Board.
